It appears that Volkswagen believes that us Volkswagen enthusiast are attracted to things of the past and expect nothing new or original from their future releases. With the plan to re-release the “Scirroco”, the release of the “New Beetle” and now up and coming is the “Rabbit”, when it comes to the past, the design of the aircooled vechicles, I’ve always thought was pure ingenius. BUT, as we enter the modern world, I believe latching on to old concept names such as “Beetle”, is a cheap advertising ploy to make cash on great concepts from long ago. I want better, with better names, with added performance, with reasonable pricing. This would make my a VW follower for the rest of my life on earth.
